Martin Luther King, Jr., Library Special Collection
With support from the Ford Foundation, the Martin Luther King Jr. Library, housed within the Department of African
American Studies has acquired a special collection on Black feminist and environmental justice. The special collection
features books, monographs, and films. The current collection includes over 130 titles, and it continues to grow.
The collection will also feature materials that utilize a Black feminist approach to understanding life in Black
communities.
The Black Feminism and Environmental Justice Special Collection will serve as a resource for students, faculty, and the community.
