Partners
The Gender and Environmental Justice Project is serving to enhance collaborations between AAS, other Syracuse
University departments, and members of Syracuse’s Black, Latino, and First Nations’ communities. Our goal is to
share knowledge, gain insights, and promote environmental justice.
The following partners are helping make this project possible. As activities are planned, we continue to welcome
new partners and friends.

Ford Foundation
The Ford Foundation is an independent nonprofit grant-making organization. We make
grants in all 50 U.S. states and in many countries around the world. Created with gifts and bequests by Edsel
and Henry Ford, the Foundation is an independent organization, with its own board, and is entirely separate from
the Ford Motor Company. The foundation works mainly by making grants or loans that build knowledge and strengthen
organizations and networks. |
