Courses numbered 100 - 599 are "undergraduate courses/credits" and those numbered 500 - 999 are "graduate courses/credits." Under certain circumstances undergraduates may take graduate courses and graduate students may take (under higher numbers and with additional or alternate requirements) undergraduate courses. Courses at the 500 level can count as either undergraduate or graduate credits.
